Most of your day happens on a screen. Your body has noticed, even if you haven't. A ShoShin Day is two hours of real martial arts in a small group — real movement, real contact, real people. No experience needed. No trophies, no tick-box syllabus. We don't just play karate.
2 hours · adults · small group of 4–6
£10 · free if a member refers you

Slow, deliberate movement and breath work drawn from the Chinese tradition. No mats, no lycra, no mysticism — just a practical way to lower stress, ease stiff joints and reconnect body and mind. Suitable for any age and any level of fitness.
Free · three Mondays: 17, 24 & 31 August · 2–3pm
URC East Kilbride, 11 Old Coach Road, G74 4DS
Organised by Violence Prevention SCIO, supported by the Corra Foundation Boost Fund.
Free · Violence Prevention SCIO
The best self-defence is the situation you never end up in. Self Security is about awareness, de-escalation and prevention: how conflict actually starts, how to read it early, and what genuinely keeps you safe — before, during and after. First aid self-defence, taught by people who work with real violence, not film choreography.
